Job Description

Job Title: Telecaller — Personal Loan Sales

Location: INDORE

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Telecaller to generate and close personal loan applications via outbound and inbound calls. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales skills, excellent phone etiquette, product knowledge, and a customer-first approach to meet monthly targets and grow the loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound calling: Contact warm leads, inquiries, and targeted prospects to present personal loan products and assess eligibility.
  • Inbound handling: Professionally respond to incoming calls from customers interested in personal loans; qualify and convert leads.
  • Product presentation: Explain loan features, eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, interest rates, fees, tenure options, and repayment methods clearly and accurately.
  • Needs assessment: Use questioning to understand customer financial needs, repayment capacity, and suggest the most suitable loan product.
  • Lead qualification: Screen leads for creditworthiness and potential fit; update CRM with accurate lead status and call notes.
  • Application support: Guide customers through the loan application process, checklist, and follow up to ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Follow-up & nurturing: Maintain follow-up cadence for undecided prospects; re-engage cold leads when appropriate.
  • Cross-sell & upsell: Identify opportunities to offer additional relevant financial products or higher loan amounts where appropriate.
  • Compliance & documentation: Ensure adherence to internal policies, KYC/AML requirements, and regulatory guidelines during conversations and documentation handling.
  • Targets & reporting: Achieve monthly conversion and revenue targets; generate daily and weekly sales activity reports for team leads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience: 1–2 years in telecalling, telesales, or financial product sales (preferably loans or banking).
  • Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills.
  • Customer-focused with empathy and active listening abilities.
  • Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics.
  • Basic understanding of personal loans, interest computation, EMI, and credit checks.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive customer data confidentially.

  • Experience selling financial products or working in NBFC/banking environment.
  • Multilingual abilities to communicate in regional languages.
  • Resilient, with a positive attitude toward cold-calling and rejection.
  • Good time-management and organizational skills.
