Accountant/ Accounts Executive

GD Fabrics is a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of women's ethnic wear

We are looking for an Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations, billing, taxation, inventory records, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage GST tax invoices, proforma invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans.
• Handle day-to-day billing and maintain accurate sales and purchase records.
• Prepare and file GST returns while ensuring timely statutory compliance.
• Reconcile GST, bank statements, customer accounts, and vendor accounts.
• Maintain SKU-wise inventory records and stock movement.
• Track stock inward/outward, inventory valuation, and assist with periodic stock audits.
• Record purchase entries, sales entries, expenses, receipts, and payments in accounting software.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including payment follow-ups.
• Prepare financial reports such as profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and monthly MIS reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and financial records.
• Support payroll processing and statutory deductions when required.
• Perform other accounting, finance, and administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing, textile, or wholesale business.
• Strong knowledge of Invoicing, GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime, My Bill book, Busy, Marg, or similar ERP systems.
• Good understanding of inventory management and SKU-based stock tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Preferred QualificationsExperience in the textile, garment, or wholesale industry.
• Knowledge of inventory and warehouse accounting.
• Familiarity with e-invoicing, e-way bills, and GST portal operations.
