Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Design: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D architectural floor plans, elevations, cross-sections, and site layout plans using AutoCAD.
- Working Drawings: Create accurate structural, plumbing, and electrical (MEP) layouts for on-site execution.
- Regulatory Compliance: Prepare approval drawings and municipal plans strictly adhering to JDA (Jaipur Development Authority) and RERA guidelines.
- Revisions: Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback from architects, site engineers, or clients.
- Site Coordination: Collaborate with the site execution team to resolve design-related issues and ensure plans are implemented accurately.
- Documentation: Maintain a highly organized digital filing system for all project drawings, revisions, and architectural documents.
- Quantity Estimation (Optional but preferred): Assist in basic quantity take-offs and material estimations based on drafted plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma/ITI in Civil Draftsmanship, Diploma in Architecture, or a related degree.
- Experience: Minimum of [e.g., 2+] years of proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, specifically within the Indian real estate, construction, or architectural sector.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Bonus Skills: Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or Photoshop is highly advantageous.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, construction detailing, and local building codes (JDA bylaws).
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to meet strict project deadlines, and strong communication skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
