Position:-Business Development Executive (BDE)
Industry:- Construction & Building Material
Job Summary:-We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, contractors, and retailers. The candidate will be responsible for business development, product promotion, customer relationship management, and collection of outstanding payments while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:-
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, architects, contractors, and other channel partners.
-Visit the market regularly to identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
-Promote and explain the company's products, features, and benefits to potential and existing customers.
-Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by the company.
Appoint new dealers and distributors to expand the company's market network.
-Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness.
-Ensure product visibility and effective merchandising at dealer and distributor outlets.
-Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, and deliveries.
-Coordinate with the internal sales, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
-Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends and provide regular market feedback.
-Collect outstanding payments from dealers and distributors and ensure timely recovery of receivables.
-Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, collections, and daily reports.
Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly while maintaining long-term business relationships.
Required Skills:-
-Strong sales and negotiation skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Knowledge of the Construction & Building Material industry is preferred.
-Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
-Good presentation and product demonstration skills.
-Collection and payment follow-up skills.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
-Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
Qualification:-
-Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
-1–3 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in the Construction & Building Material industry.
Preferred Candidate Profile
-Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
-Strong market knowledge and customer network.
-Target-oriented with a proactive approach.
-Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
Salary:-
-20k to 25k + Target based incentive
