Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our café team. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, creating menu items, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through delicious and consistently prepared meals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook café menu items, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and taste meet café standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Develop new recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
• Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs.
• Train and supervise kitchen assistants when required.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of customer orders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Creativity and passion for food.
• Culinary certification is an advantage.
