Sangam Farms is a luxury farmstay experience blending hospitality, wellness, nature, and elevated dining. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis 1 to join our culinary team and assist in delivering high-quality dining experiences across multiple cuisines.

Role OverviewThe ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge and hands-on experience in at least one of the following sections while being comfortable working across multiple cuisines:

• Pan Asian
• Indian
• Continental
• Bakery & Desserts

The candidate will work closely with senior chefs to ensure consistency, hygiene, preparation standards, and smooth kitchen operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and execute dishes as per recipes and SOPs
• Handle mise en place and section prep efficiently
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation at all times
• Assist senior chefs during service operations
• Monitor stock levels and reduce wastage
• Follow food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
• Coordinate with team members for smooth kitchen functioning
• Requirements2–4 years of experience in professional kitchens
• Experience in luxury hospitality, premium restaurants, cafés, or resorts preferred
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and service flow
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good team coordination and discipline
• Basic knowledge of inventory handling and kitchen hygiene practices
• Preferred SkillsMulti-cuisine exposure
• Bakery and artisanal preparation knowledge is a plus
• Passion for modern hospitality and guest experience
• Strong attention to detail and plating aesthetics
