Driver

Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freshly prepared meals from the central kitchen to assigned beneficiaries. The role ensures that food is delivered hygienically, on schedule, and in compliance with road safety and organizational standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate Foundation vehicles to transport meals to designated distribution points.
• Ensure timely delivery of meals according to the daily route plan.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle used for food transportation.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and Foundation policies.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and vehicle documentation.
• Coordinate with kitchen and field staff.
• maintain food quality and hygiene.
• Report vehicle breakdowns, delays, accidents, or other incidents promptly.
• Support other logistics-related activities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Qualifications
• Valid LMV/HMV driving license (as applicable to the assigned vehicle).
• professional driving .
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and route plans.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
