Job Description – E-commerce ManagerPosition: E-commerce ManagerJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and responsible E-commerce Manager to oversee and manage our online business operations across multiple marketplaces and platforms such as Wayfair, Faire, Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, and other sales channels.
The ideal candidate should be able to handle team management, daily work updates, task assignments, operational planning, sales growth, listing management, customer service coordination, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Team ManagementManage and supervise the e-commerce team on daily operations
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members
- Track daily work updates and ensure timely completion
- Monitor team performance and productivity
- Conduct regular follow-ups and team meetings
- Provide training and guidance to improve team efficiency
- Operations ManagementHandle end-to-end e-commerce operations across all marketplaces
- Ensure smooth order processing, fulfillment, and shipment coordination
- Monitor inventory availability and stock planning
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for timely dispatch
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
- Marketplace ManagementManage product listings, pricing, promotions, and catalog updates
- Monitor listing health and fix suppression or visibility issues
- Improve product ranking and sales performance
- Work closely with marketplace account managers (Wayfair, Amazon, etc.)
- Prepare for seasonal events like Way Day, sales campaigns, and promotions
- Performance Monitoring Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Analyze best-selling and low-performing SKUs
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Maintain KPIs for sales, returns, customer satisfaction, and profitability
- Customer & Vendor CoordinationHandle escalations related to customer service
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and platform support teams
- Ensure smooth communication between internal and external stakeholders
- Strategy & GrowthDevelop strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and product expansion plans
- Optimize processes for better efficiency and customer experience
- Required SkillsStrong leadership and team handling skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Experience in marketplace management (Wayfair, Amazon, Faire, Shopify, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce operations and order management
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Good understanding of inventory planning and logistics
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field
- Experience in E-commerce Management
- Experience in home décor, textiles, furniture, or lifestyle products preferred
Goal of the RoleTo ensure smooth daily operations, strong team performance, healthy marketplace growth, and increased revenue across all online sales channels.
