E-Commerce Sales Executive

Job Overview:To own the sales conversion funnel across our brand website, Shopify store, and IndiaMART marketplace, Amazon or any other Marketplace. The primary goal is to turn inbound online inquiries, website shopping carts, and directory leads into paid commercial orders. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Inbound Lead Conversion & Support

1. IndiaMART Lead Optimization: Monitor incoming inquiries on the IndiaMART seller panel. Maintain a rapid response time to qualify buyers and pitch correct pump configurations.
2. Shopify & Website Cart Recovery: Track abandoned carts and incomplete checkouts on our Shopify storefront. Proactively call and message customers to resolve doubts and close the sales.
3. Digital Consultative Selling: Answer incoming web calls and WhatsApp inquiries. Guide buyers on technical aspects (e.g., matching required Head vs. Discharge specs for borewell submersibles or monoblocks) to ensure they order the correct model.

• Digital Marketplace Operations

1. Catalog & Price Control: Ensure product listings, images, technical specifications, and bulk pricing matrices are accurate and updated across Shopify and IndiaMART panels.
2. Stock Coordination: Coordinate daily with the Store & Inventory Manager to check product availability before confirming large online dispatches, minimizing order cancellations.
3. Review & Visibility Tracking: Monitor product ratings, resolve negative customer feedback on digital portals, and ensure our marketplace visibility score remains high.

• Order Processing & Tracking

1. Ensure all online orders are correctly logged into our internal trackers/ERP systems.
2. Share customer dispatch details with the logistics team and update buyers with tracking links via automated WhatsApp/email systems.

• Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing sales on Shopify backend dashboards, IndiaMART supplier panels, or similar B2B/B2C marketplace portals.
2. Technical Comfort: Advanced comfort using MS Excel (like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for order tracking. 
3. Communication Skills: Professional, persuasive phone manners. Ability to converse confidently in Hindi (English knowledge is a strong plus) to negotiate pricing and build rapport with dealers and end-consumers.
4. Industry Exposure: Prior experience working in electrical, building materials, agricultural machinery, or industrial manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
