Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery CAD Designer to create high-quality 3D jewellery designs using CAD software. The candidate should have a strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, design aesthetics, and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D CAD models of jewellery designs (rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants, etc.)
- Convert hand sketches, concepts, or reference images into CAD designs
- Prepare production-ready files for manufacturing and 3D printing
- Modify and improve existing jewellery designs as per requirements
- Ensure designs are technically accurate for casting and production
- Coordinate with the design and production team for design feasibility
- Maintain design database and files properly
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software like Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD.
- Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing process (casting, setting, polishing, moulding)
- Good understanding of stone settings, metal weights, and product dimensions
- Strong creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work within deadlines
