About the Role

Shreek Solutions is hiring a PHP Core & Laravel Developer for our Jaipur office. You'll be working on real-time features, APIs, and full applications built primarily in Laravel — and you'll also own a good chunk of the front-end using Blade and Livewire. We're not looking for someone who just writes backend logic and hands off the UI to someone else. If you can build something end-to-end and it looks right, that's the person we want.

This role has room to grow. As you settle in, we'd want you taking more ownership of how the system is structured and weighing in on technical decisions — not just executing tickets.

What You'll Be Doing

Building and maintaining web applications in Core PHP and Laravel

Creating and integrating REST APIs

Working on real-time features with WebSockets and Laravel Reverb

Building front-end interfaces in Blade and Livewire that actually match the design — not "close enough"

Writing code that's clean enough that someone else can pick it up later

Digging into performance issues — slow queries, bottlenecks, that kind of thing

Debugging across the stack when something breaks

Working with designers and QA to actually ship features, not just write code

Having opinions about how the system is architected, and being willing to raise them

Reviewing code and pushing for better practices on the team

Using Git properly — decent commit hygiene, branching, the basics

What You Need

2–3 years actually working with Core PHP and Laravel, not just a bootcamp certificate

Solid grip on PHP fundamentals — OOP, MVC, the stuff that doesn't change every year

Experience building REST APIs that other people or systems actually consume

Real experience with WebSockets — you've built something real-time before, not just read about it

Worked with Laravel Reverb or something comparable (Pusher, Socket.io — the concept is the same)

Front-end skills with Blade and Livewire that are actually good — you can take a design and build it accurately

Comfortable with MySQL or PostgreSQL — writing decent queries, thinking about schema

Familiar with the rest of the Laravel toolkit — Eloquent, queues, events/listeners

Git, obviously

You think about security while you're building, not after something goes wrong

Nice to Have

React or Vue experience

You can look at a system and understand why it's built the way it is — and have thoughts on how it should evolve. This matters because whoever takes this role will eventually be making some of those calls

Docker familiarity

You've hooked up third-party APIs before — payment gateways, SMS providers, whatever

Who We're Looking For

Someone who doesn't need every detail spelled out — you can look at a problem and figure out a reasonable way to solve it. Someone who cares about the code still making sense six months from now. And someone who wants to grow into more responsibility, not just stay in a lane.

This is an office role in Jaipur — we're not hiring remote for this one.
