Recovery Executive

Role Summary

We are looking for a persistent, persuasive, and professional Recovery Executive to manage monthly payment collections from our real estate clients. Our sales operate on a PLC (Payment Linked to Collection) model, which means timely recovery directly impacts business performance. This role requires someone who is confident on calls, builds rapport with clients, and consistently ensures dues are cleared on time — every month.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Recovery & Collections

•     Call clients every month as per the payment schedule and follow up on outstanding dues

•     Track and manage the monthly recovery calendar across the entire client portfolio

•     Ensure payments are received within the defined timeline under the PLC model

•     Escalate hard cases to senior management with proper documentation

Client Communication & Follow-Up

•     Build and maintain a professional relationship with clients to ensure smooth collections

•     Send timely reminders via call, WhatsApp, and email before and after due dates

•     Handle client objections, payment delays, and disputes politely but firmly

•     Negotiate payment plans for genuinely defaulting clients with management approval

Reporting & Tracking

•     Maintain daily call logs and update recovery status in CRM or Excel tracker

•     Prepare weekly recovery reports showing collected, pending, and overdue amounts

•     Report month-end recovery figures to the Sales Head / Recovery Manager

•     Flag high-risk accounts and clients likely to default in advance

Coordination

•     Coordinate with the sales team to align on client commitments and payment timelines

•     Liaise with the accounts team to confirm payment receipts and update records

•     Share client feedback on payment issues that may signal a broader service concern

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have

•     Strong communication skills in Hindi and English — clear, confident, and professional on calls

•     Proven ability to follow up persistently without being aggressive or off-putting

•     Experience in recovery, collections, tele-calling, or customer follow-up roles

•     Good with Excel or CRM tools for tracking and reporting

•     High ownership mindset — takes responsibility for hitting monthly recovery targets

Good to Have

•     Prior experience in real estate, NBFC, EdTech, or any EMI/instalment-based sales model

•     Understanding of payment schedules, demand letters, and collection processes

•     Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure with difficult clients
