Job Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, contractors, company assets, and infrastructure at the Jaipur office and solar plant project sites across Rajasthan. The role includes access control, surveillance, patrolling, incident reporting, and supporting general site administration through non-technical operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

Security Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure assigned solar plant sites.
• Control entry and exit of employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
• Verify identity cards, visitor passes, and vehicle movements.
• Conduct regular patrols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, safety hazards.
• Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment where installed.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Prepare daily security logs, incident reports, and shift handover reports.
• Coordinate with local authorities, police, and emergency services when required.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and HSE guidelines.

Non-Technical Site Responsibilities

• Support site administration and maintain discipline at project locations.
• Monitor housekeeping and ensure cleanliness of security and common areas.
• Assist in maintaining visitor registers, gate passes, and material movement records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, transport, and facility service providers.
• Support employee and contractor attendance verification at site.
• Assist with logistics coordination for deliveries and movement of non-technical materials.
• Monitor accommodation and basic welfare arrangements for site personnel, where applicable.
• Report infrastructure issues such as lighting, fencing, gates, water supply, or sanitation to the site administration team.
• Assist during audits, inspections, and client visits by coordinating access and documentation.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties assigned by the Site Manager or Administration team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass); Graduate preferred.
• Security training or certification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in industrial, infrastructure, renewable energy, or construction sites is preferred.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in industrial plants, infrastructure projects, renewable energy, or construction sites.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to maintain records and documentation accurately.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors.
• Integrity, discipline, and professional conduct.
• Ability to travel frequently across Rajasthan project locations.

Working Conditions

• Hybrid role based out of Jaipur Office with regular travel to solar plant sites across Rajasthan.
• Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Periodic stay at project sites may be required depending on operational needs.
