Job description for Account post

1. Tally Software Management:

• Be the primary point of contact for all matters related to Tally software.
• Install, configure, and maintain the Tally software and its updates.
• Customize Tally settings to align with the company's accounting and reporting needs.

1. Financial Data Entry and Accuracy:

• Enter financial transactions into the Tally system accurately and promptly with naration
• Ensure that all financial data is properly classified and coded for reporting purposes.
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and other financial documents with Tally records.

1. Financial Reporting:

• Generate various financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, using Tally software.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management.

1. Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with auditors during the audit process and address any audit-related queries.

1. Accounts Receivable and Payable Management:

• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable in the Tally system.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of outstanding payables.

1. Inventory Management (if applicable):

• Manage inventory-related transactions and records in the Tally system.

1. Data Backup and Security:

• Regularly backup Tally data to prevent loss of financial information.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive financial data.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
• Proficiency in using Tally software and understanding of its functionalities.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to finance and accounting.
