### Job Summary:

The Senior Steward/Captain at Bamboo Nation is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the restaurant’s dining area, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of stewards and waitstaff. This role involves managing the floor, training staff, maintaining service standards, and addressing guest needs with professionalism.

### Key Responsibilities:

- *Guest Service:* Ensure all guests receive exceptional service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.

- *Team Leadership:* Supervise, guide, and train stewards and waitstaff to maintain high levels of service quality and guest satisfaction.

- *Floor Management:* Oversee the smooth operation of the dining area, manage seating arrangements, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.

- *Training and Development:* Conduct regular training sessions for the team on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction.

- *Quality Control:* Monitor the cleanliness of the dining area, table settings, and overall restaurant ambiance to meet Bamboo Nation’s standards.

- *Order Taking:* Assist in taking orders during busy times and ensure accuracy in delivering food and beverages to guests.

- *Inventory Management:* Assist with managing and replenishing supplies, including cutlery, linens, and other service-related items.

- *Staff Scheduling:* Collaborate with management to create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.

- *Customer Relations:* Build and maintain positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and promote Bamboo Nation’s values.

- *Compliance:* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

### Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as a steward, captain, or in a supervisory role within a restaurant.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with tact.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

### Preferred:

- Previous experience in a fine-dining or casual-dining environment.

- Familiarity with Bamboo Nation’s cuisine and values.

### Salary:

Commensurate with experience.
