Job Description
Quality Inspector (CRM - Cold Rolling Mill)
📍 Location: Kalinganagar, Jajpur, Odisha
💼 Experience: 2+ Years
🎓 Qualification: ITI / Diploma (Mechanical or Metallurgy Preferred)
💰 CTC: ₹2.98 LPA
Key Responsibilities
Inspect steel strips for quality defects during production.
Identify and log defects in the L2 system.
Perform thickness, width, burr, roughness, flatness, and stoning inspections.
Coordinate with production and QA teams to resolve quality issues.
Follow SOPs and ensure defect-free product quality.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a steel plant.
Experience as an SIS Inspector is preferred.
Basic knowledge of steel making, casting, hot/cold rolling, annealing, and galvanizing processes.
Good communication and coordination skills.
