Job Description
Accounts Payable & Receivable (A/P & A/R): Processing vendor invoices, managing purchase orders, issuing customer bills, and tracking incoming payments to minimize overdue accounts.
Reconciliation: Matching internal ledgers with bank statements to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate cash tracking.
Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately inputting daily transactions into accounting systems like Tally, QuickBooks, or Oracle.
Payroll Processing: Helping calculate employee wages, checking expense claims, and maintaining benefits records.
Tax and Audit Support: Gathering financial documents for internal/external audits and assisting in the preparation of tax filings.
Budgeting: Monitoring petty cash, tracking expenditures against set budgets, and running regular expense reports. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
