Job SummaryThe Chef Trainer is responsible for providing practical and theoretical culinary training to students. The trainer develops students' cooking skills, kitchen discipline, food safety knowledge, and professional behavior according to industry standards. The trainer also evaluates student performance, maintains kitchen facilities, and ensures compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & InstructionDeliver classroom and practical kitchen training.
- Teach Indian, Continental, Chinese, Bakery, and other cuisines as per the curriculum.
- Demonstrate cooking techniques and food presentation.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical schedules, and training materials.
- Conduct live cooking demonstrations and supervise practical sessions.
- Train students in kitchen operations and professional work ethics.
- Student DevelopmentGuide students in developing culinary skills.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and classroom participation.
- Assess practical performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for assessments, certifications, and interviews.
- Mentor students during internships and industrial training.
- Kitchen ManagementMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in training kitchens.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
