Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Job Description:We are hiring a Transport Coordinator for managing daily logistics operations for a large-scale project. The role involves arranging trucks, coordinating dispatch, tracking deliveries, and ensuring smooth transportation operations.

1. Main Responsibilities:Truck Arrangement & Sourcing:

• Arrange trucks from open market on daily basis
• Maintain contact with transporters, drivers, and fleet owners
• Ensure availability of vehicles as per dispatch requirement

1. Rate Negotiation:

• Negotiate best possible freight rates
• Compare multiple transporters before finalizing
• Control transport cost to maximize profitability

1. Dispatch Coordination:

• Coordinate with warehouse team for truck placement
• Ensure timely reporting of vehicles at loading point
• Manage daily dispatch schedule (12–15 trucks per warehouse)

1. Real-Time Tracking:

• Monitor live vehicle movement
• Follow up with drivers during transit
• Ensure on-time delivery

1. Communication & Coordination:

• Coordinate with clients
• Handle WhatsApp groups for dispatch updates
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues

1. Documentation & System Update:

• Ensure proper entry of truck and driver details in system
• Verify documents before dispatch
• Maintain records of trips and deliveries

1. Problem Handling:

• Handle delays, breakdowns, and emergency situations
• Arrange alternate trucks if required
• Ensure minimal disruption in operations
• Key Skills Required:Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of transport market (Punjab preferred)
• Ability to handle pressure and urgent work
• Basic computer/mobile knowledge
• Problem-solving attitude
• Language Preference:Knowledge of Punjabi language will be preferred
• Ability to communicate in Hindi and basic English
• Salary & Benefits:Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 (based on experience)
