About UNITECH

UNITECH is a Jamshedpur-based industrial supply company dealing in centrifugal pumps, pump spares, motors, valves, panels and allied industrial equipment. Founded in 2009, UNITECH works with customers across steel plants, power plants, water systems, contractors, workshops, industrial units and maintenance teams.

We support important industrial applications such as cooling water circulation, raw water transfer, dust suppression, raw material washing, power plant water systems, ETP/STP, drainage, dewatering and general industrial fluid-handling systems.

As our business grows, we are looking to hire two sincere, organized and responsible Back Office Executives to support our internal operations.

One person will primarily support accounts, billing and finance-related work, while the other will primarily support documentation, quotation preparation, invoicing coordination, inventory management and sales support.


Role Overview

The Back Office Executive role is an important office-based coordination role at UNITECH. The selected candidates will help ensure that accounting work, quotations, invoices, documentation, inventory updates, customer follow-ups and vendor coordination are handled properly and on time.

This role is suitable for candidates who are disciplined, comfortable working on computers, good with records, and interested in building a stable career in office operations within an industrial business.


Key Responsibilities

Depending on the candidate’s background and suitability, responsibilities may include:


Accounts & Billing Support

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries.
  • Prepare and manage sales invoices, purchase entries and expense records.
  • Support GST billing and related documentation.
  • Maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
  • Track receivables and payables.
  • Assist in payment follow-ups when required.
  • Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, debit notes, credit notes and payment receipts.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation and account statement checking.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team, sales team and management for billing-related work.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records


Documentation, Quotation & Sales Support

  • Prepare and format quotations for customers.
  • Coordinate with the sales and pre-sales team for enquiry details.
  • Maintain records of customer enquiries, quotations and follow-ups.
  • Assist in preparing purchase orders, sales orders and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors for prices, availability, delivery timelines and product details.
  • Support invoicing coordination with the accounts team.
  • Track inventory, stock availability and pending material.
  • Maintain records of offers, orders, invoices, delivery challans and dispatch details.
  • Follow up internally for pending quotations, pending orders and pending dispatches.
  • Communicate with customers and vendors by phone, WhatsApp and email when required.
  • Update Excel trackers and internal records regularly.
  • Support urgent customer requirements during breakdowns or shutdowns.

Good to Have

  • B.Com, M.Com, B.Sc., Diploma, ITI, B.Tech, commerce, science or technical background preferred.
  • Prior experience in accounts, billing, GST, Tally, quotation preparation, documentation, inventory, industrial supply, dealership, trading or distribution business will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Tally, ERP, Excel or inventory software will be a plus.
  • Experience with pumps, motors, valves, spares, tools, hardware, manufacturing or industrial equipment will be preferred.
  • Ability to understand basic product names, part numbers and technical details will be helpful.
