Banquet Manager

Job Summary:

The Banquet Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all banquet events (weddings, corporate functions, parties, outdoor catering, etc.) ensuring high-quality service, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with clients for event requirements, menu selection, and setup
• Liaise with kitchen, service, and sales teams
• Ensure all arrangements are as per client expectations
• Supervise banquet staff during events
• Ensure proper table setup, décor, and service standards
• Monitor food quality and service timing
• Handle last-minute changes efficiently
• Meet clients before and during events
• Ensure personalized service and guest satisfaction
• Handle complaints and resolve issues immediately
• Train and supervise banquet staff
• Prepare duty rosters and manpower planning
• Ensure grooming and discipline standards
• Monitor event costs and profitability
• Control wastage and optimize resources
• Ensure billing accuracy and coordination with accounts
• Maintain banquet equipment (cutlery, crockery, linen, etc.)
• Coordinate with stores for stock availability
• Ensure proper handling and storage
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards
• Follow fire and safety regulations
• Ensure legal compliance for events
• Strong leadership & team management
• Excellent communication & client handling
• Event planning & execution skills
• Problem-solving & decision-making

Qualification:

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality

Experience:

3–8 years in banquet or F&B operations
