Job Description

  • Menu Planning and Development: Creating and updating menu offerings to meet customer preferences and maximize profitability. This might include introducing a seasonal menu.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Ensuring smooth workflows, timely food preparation, and efficient kitchen processes.
  • Culinary Excellence and Quality Control: Maintaining high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Staff Training and Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and developing the culinary team to foster a positive work environment and reduce turnover.
  • Cost Management and Budgeting: Monitoring expenses, managing inventory, reducing waste, and maintaining target food cost percentages.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards to meet health regulations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Managing customer feedback and ensuring a high level of customer service through quality food and service.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiating with vendors and managing relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement of ingredients.
