Description: Assistant Mechanical EngineerPosition OverviewThe Assistant Mechanical Engineer will support the senior engineering team in design, site execution, maintenance activities, vendor coordination, and documentation. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow technically, support project execution, and ensure smooth mechanical operations.

Key Responsibilities• Assist in preparing mechanical drawings, BOQ, and technical documentation.

• Support design review, quantity estimation, and material planning.

• Monitor day-to-day mechanical work at the site.

• Assist in supervising installation of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.

• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and other teams for smooth workflow.

• Collect quotations and support vendor comparison sheets.

• Assist in material inspection and verification.

• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain DPR and inspection formats.

Required Skills &

Competencies• Basic understanding of mechanical systems.

• Knowledge of HVAC, pipelines, pumps, and utilities.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

• Strong willingness to learn and take responsibility.

• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience: 2–3 years.

• Experience in construction or industrial projects is preferred.
