Job Description
Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Back Office Executive to support the day-to-day operational activities of our stock broking business. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of capital market operations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and maintain client account opening documentation (KYC, Demat & Trading Accounts).
- Verify client documents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle trade confirmations, contract notes, and settlement-related activities.
- Process pay-in/pay-out transactions and coordinate with the finance team.
- Monitor DP transactions, pledge/unpledge requests, and off-market transfers.
- Coordinate with exchanges, depositories, and internal departments for smooth operations.
- Resolve client queries related to account operations and transaction processing.
- Maintain accurate records of client documentation and operational reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, Exchange, and Depository guidelines.
- Support audit and compliance activities by maintaining proper documentation.
- Perform other operational and administrative tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
- Required SkillsBasic knowledge of stock market operations, Demat & Trading Accounts.
- Understanding of NSE, BSE, CDSL, and NSDL processes.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Preferred QualificationsExperience in stock broking, depository operations, or financial services.
- Certification such as NISM (Depository Operations/Equity Derivatives/Equity Dealer) will be an added advantage.
