Job SummaryThe Office Boy / Peon is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting in day-to-day office operations, supporting hostel and classroom activities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the coaching centre. This is a 24-hour residential position, and the selected candidate will stay on the institute campus and be available whenever required.



  • Key Responsibilities1. Office & Reception SupportOpen and close the office as per schedule.
  • Assist the reception and administrative staff in daily operations.
  • Deliver files, documents, parcels, and other materials within the campus.
  • Arrange and maintain office supplies and stationery.
  • Serve drinking water, tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff and visitors whenever required.
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized.
  • 2. Director's Personal Office ResponsibilitiesMaintain the Director's office in a neat, clean, and organized condition at all times.
  • Ensure drinking water, tea, coffee, and refreshments are available whenever required.
  • Arrange files, books, documents, and office materials properly.
  • Prepare the Director's meeting room before meetings and clean it after meetings.
  • Assist in photocopying, printing, scanning, binding, and filing important documents.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of all documents, discussions, and office matters.
  • Coordinate with different departments for documents or materials required by the Director.
  • Purchase or arrange office supplies and other items as instructed.
  • Ensure the Director's office is opened before arrival and properly locked after office hours.
  • Run official errands and perform any personal office assistance assigned by the Director.
  • 3. Classroom ManagementOpen classrooms before the commencement of classes.
  • Ensure classrooms are clean and properly arranged.
  • Arrange desks, chairs, whiteboards, markers, dusters, projectors, and other teaching materials.
  • Report damaged furniture or maintenance issues immediately.
  • 4. Cleaning & MaintenanceMaintain cleanliness of offices, classrooms, reception, corridors, staircases, hostel common areas, and campus surroundings.
  • Empty dustbins regularly.
  • Ensure washrooms remain clean and report any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping staff whenever required.
  • 5. Student & Hostel SupportAssist hostel wardens in daily hostel operations.
  • Help students with luggage movement and room arrangements.
  • Assist during admissions, parent visits, examinations, and institute events.
  • Support hostel management whenever required.
  • 6. Campus OperationsAssist in arranging tests, meetings, seminars, and institute events.
  • Carry books, answer sheets, stationery, and other materials between departments.
  • Display notices and update notice boards.
  • Assist with photocopying, printing, lamination, and document distribution.
  • Help in shifting furniture whenever required.
  • 7. Security & Emergency SupportRemain available on campus for emergency situations.
  • Monitor common areas during assigned hours.
  • Immediately report suspicious activities, accidents, fire hazards, electrical faults, water leakage, or any safety concerns to the management.
  • 8. General DutiesPerform any reasonable task assigned by the Director, Administrative Officer, or Centre Manager.
  • Maintain polite, respectful, and professional behaviour with students, parents, visitors, and staff.
  • Follow all institute rules, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of institute matters.



  • Residential (24-Hour) ExpectationsThis is a residential position.
  • The employee must stay on the institute campus.
  • Be available whenever required for emergencies, admissions, examinations, hostel requirements, and institute events.
  • Weekly off and leave will be provided as per institute policy.
  • Duty hours will be managed by the administration with adequate daily rest.

  • EligibilityMinimum Qualification: 10th Pass (12th Pass preferred)
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials.
  • Honest, disciplined, punctual, and responsible.
  • Prior experience in a school, college, coaching institute, hostel, or office is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Maintain respectful behaviour with all students, parents, visitors, and staff.
  • Wear a clean and proper uniform (if provided).
  • Mobile phone use should be limited during working hours except for emergencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect institute property.
