Job Description – Project Manager (CSR Skill Development Projects)

Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of CSR-funded skill development projects across multiple training centers. The role involves planning, execution, coordination with corporate CSR partners, educational institutions, training centers, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with donor requirements. The Project Manager will lead project executives and coordinate with placement, training, finance, and monitoring teams to achieve project objectives and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Implementation

• Plan and execute CSR skill development projects from project kickoff to completion.
• Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Ensure project activities are completed as per approved proposal, budget, and CSR guidelines.
• Monitor project progress and resolve implementation challenges proactively.

Training Center Management

• Identify, onboard, and manage training centers across assigned regions.
• Ensure training centers meet infrastructure, trainer, compliance, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular monitoring visits and performance reviews.
• Maintain strong relationships with training partners and institutional stakeholders.

Team Leadership

• Lead and supervise Project Executives, Training Coordinators, and field teams.
• Assign targets and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
• Conduct regular review meetings and provide guidance for project execution.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and quality.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with CSR partners, corporate representatives, educational institutions, NGOs, and government departments.
• Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders regarding project status.
• Represent the organization during project meetings, audits, and review sessions.

Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance

• Track project KPIs including mobilization, enrollment, attendance, training completion, certification, placement, and retention.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports.
• Ensure complete documentation and compliance with CSR partner requirements.
• Support internal and external audits.

Budget & Resource Management

• Monitor project budgets and expenditure.
• Ensure optimal utilization of project resources.
• Coordinate with finance for vendor payments, center reimbursements, and project accounting.

Placement & Outcomes

• Coordinate with the Placement Team to achieve placement targets.
• Monitor post-placement tracking and retention.
• Ensure project outcome targets are achieved as committed.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed across all training centers.
• Conduct quality audits and implement corrective action plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Social Work, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
• MBA or PGDM preferred.
• Certification in Project Management is an added advantage.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in CSR, Skill Development, Education, Livelihood, or Training Projects.
• Experience managing multi-location projects and training center networks.
• Experience working with corporate CSR projects, NSDC, government schemes, or donor-funded programs is preferred.
