Sr.Engineer - Sub contract Purchase
Procurement / Purchasing
Identify and purchase raw materials, components, and equipment required for production.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO).
Ensure materials meet technical specifications and standards.
2?? Vendor Development & Management
Identify and evaluate new suppliers.
Maintain good relationships with existing vendors.
Conduct vendor comparison (price, quality, delivery).
3?? Cost Negotiation
Negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Work to achieve cost reduction without affecting quality.
4?? Technical Coordination
Work closely with design, production, and quality teams.
Understand engineering drawings, material grades, and specifications before purchasing.
5?? Material Planning
Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly.
Avoid material shortages or excess stock.
6?? Documentation & Compliance
Maintain purchase records, quotations, contracts, and supplier documents.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
7?? Delivery Follow-up
Track supplier delivery schedules.
Ensure on-time material delivery to meet production deadlines.
8?? Quality Assurance
Coordinate with the quality team to ensure materials meet required standards.
Handle supplier quality issues or material rejections.
