Position: Supervisor -Stores & Logistics

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Arrange vehicles and ensure availability as per dispatch plan 
• Execute timely dispatch of valves in line with defined targets and schedules  
• Ensure proper loading, handling, and dispatch of materials to avoid damages 
• Liaise with transporters, internal stakeholders (Production, QA, Sales), and stores team for smooth dispatch operations 
• Track shipment status and ensure on-time delivery to customers/sites 
• Handle day-to-day logistics issues and escalate delays or concerns proactively 
• Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as invoices, e-way bills, packing lists, LR copies, and other statutory documents 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements related to dispatch and transportation 
• Maintain proper records of all dispatch-related transactions 
• Coordinate with FG stores team for material availability and dispatch readiness 
• Support in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper documentation and system updates (SAP) 
• Ensure correct picking and staging of materials before dispatch 
• Coordinate with logistics service providers for vehicle placement and freight negotiations 
• Monitor transporter performance in terms of timeliness, cost, and service quality 
• Support onboarding of new transporters and maintain updated vendor database 
• Support freight optimization initiatives such as load consolidation and route planning 
• Ensure cost-effective utilization of transport resources 
• Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements 
• Provide accurate inputs for weekly/monthly MIS and review meetings
