School: ICSE-affiliated school, Classes 1–12
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Hindustani Classical Music Teacher to teach vocal and/or instrumental music to students from Class 1 to 12, and prepare them for school events, competitions, and cultural functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Hindustani classical vocal/instrumental music as per ICSE curriculum requirements
- Train students for annual day, morning assembly, and inter-school music competitions
- Design grade-wise music curriculum and lesson plans
- Identify and mentor musically talented students for advanced training
- Maintain musical instruments (harmonium, tabla, etc.) and coordinate procurement with admin
- Assess student progress and share feedback with parents/management
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Hindustani music ( Vocal/Instrumental )
- Experience in teaching school students
- Proficiency in vocal and/or harmonium/tabla
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English; patient and creative with young children
