Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Inventory and Procurement Manager who can efficiently manage stock planning, purchasing, vendor coordination, and material availability for smooth business operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, packaging materials, and other required items are available on time to avoid any production or dispatch delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  Manage complete inventory planning for raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other operational items

  Monitor stock levels on a regular basis and ensure timely replenishment

  Plan procurement based on production requirements, sales trends, and forecasted demand

  Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, order placement, follow-ups, and timely deliveries

  Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers

  Track purchase orders, pending orders, inward materials, and delivery schedules

  Ensure proper stock records, inward/outward entries, and inventory accuracy

  Work closely with production, warehouse, accounts, and operations teams for smooth coordination

  Identify slow-moving, dead stock, and stock shortage issues and take corrective actions

  Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with vendors

  Maintain procurement reports, stock reports, reorder levels, and MIS reports

  Ensure minimum stock-outs and avoid overstocking

  Monitor material consumption trends and suggest improvements in planning and purchasing

  Handle vendor comparisons and cost optimization initiatives

  Ensure proper documentation related to purchases, GRN, invoices, and stock movement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  Minimum 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, supply chain, or purchase operations

  Strong understanding of stock planning, purchase processes, and vendor management

  Good knowledge of Excel, inventory reports, and MIS management

  Ability to handle follow-ups and coordinate with multiple departments

  Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

  Good communication and organizational skills

  Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, cosmetics, perfumes, or D2C brands will be preferred
