Key Accountabilities
1 Program Governance & Safety Compliance: Ensure all program activities meet explosive, fire safety, and statutory compliance norms, including training teams in safety protocols. 2 Quality Compliance: Embed quality plans into program schedules and lead corrective actions for deviations. 3 Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead coordination among production, QC, engineering, supply chain, and EH&S to achieve program milestones. 4Schedule, Cost & Scope Management: Maintain baseline schedules, monitor progress, resolve delays, and ensure cost discipline.
5 Risk Management: Maintain program risk registers, implement mitigation plans, and drive escalation closures.6
Continuous Improvement: Identify efficiency enhancements across manufacturing processes, supporting lean initiatives.7
Stakeholder Communication: Lead monthly program reviews, customer interactions, and management reporting.8
Equipment & Process Readiness: Ensure maintenance, machine health checks, and readiness for safe explosive operations prior to program execution.
Educational Qualification:
Must:
- BE - Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Desirable:
- PMP/PRINCE2, SPC, HAZOP, Lean Six Sigma
Relevant Experience:
Must:
- 10–15 years’ experience managing complex programs.
- 05 Yrs manufacturing of defence production.
Desirable:
- Experience with MES/ERP, strong risk management capabilities, multi-disciplinary team leadership.
