Position Overview

This is a dual-responsibility role demanding high efficiency, absolute integrity, and excellent customer service skills. The candidate will manage frontline patient interactions (registration, billing, and inquiry handling) while simultaneously overseeing counter sales and stock purchase with tracking for immediate branch requirements.



1. Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Education: Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, or equivalent).
  • A background in Commerce or Science/Pharmacy is highly preferred due to the inventory and purchase responsibilities.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in front desk management, counter sales, billing, or inventory coordination, ideally in a hospital, diagnostic laboratory, or retail pharmacy setup.
  • Promising freshers with exceptional communication and numerical skills may also be considered.

2. Core Eligibility & Skill Requirements

  • Computer Literacy: Strong proficiency in basic computer operations is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office (especially MS Excel) and Google Sheets (Not Mandatory) for data entry and daily report maintenance.
  • Familiarity with billing software or hospital management information systems (HMIS) is a strong plus.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in Hindi and a working knowledge of English (both verbal and written) to interact effectively with patients, doctors, and vendors.
  • Numerical & Analytical Aptitude: Accurate calculations for patient billing, cash handling, and recording counter sales/purchase orders without errors.
  • Location Familiarity: Preference will be given to candidates residing locally in Kanpur or having a sound knowledge of the local medical market/vendors.

3. Key Responsibilities

·        Patient registration.

  • Billing and appointment management.
  • Front Desk & Patient Management: Seamlessly handle patient registration, walk-in inquiries, appointment scheduling, and customer support with a friendly, patient-first attitude.
  • Billing & Cash Handling: Manage day-to-day billing for OPD, diagnostics, and services, ensuring completely transparent cash/digital payment handling.
  • Counter Sales & Purchase Tracking: Record daily over-the-counter sales, maintain local purchase logs, monitor stock levels for immediate clinic/pharmacy needs, and coordinate requirements with the procurement team.
  • Daily MIS Reporting: Prepare and compile daily MIS reports (sales, collection summaries, and purchase logs) for submission to the Branch Head or Head Office.
  • Inter-departmental Coordination: Maintain smooth communication between patients, clinical staff, laboratory technicians, and visiting consultants.

·        Customer support, Maintaining patient records, Preparing daily MIS reports, Coordinating with doctors and departments.
