Sales Executive – Travel Industry

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new B2B travel agents and clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing travel agents and clients.
• Promote and sell travel packages, hotels, flights, MICE and other travel products.
• Handle enquiries and ensure timely follow-ups for maximum conversion.
• Conduct regular calls, meetings and field visits with travel agents and clients.
• Generate new business opportunities through market visits and networking.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth booking and service delivery.
• Maintain regular records of calls, meetings, follow-ups and sales activities.
• Keep clients updated about new products, offers, promotions and destinations.

Candidate Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in travel sales or a related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and convincing skills.
• Good command of English and Hindi.
• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of travel products, destinations, hotels and flights.
• Comfortable with field sales, client meetings and regular market visits.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, Email and WhatsApp.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented and result-driven.
• Good knowledge of the Kanpur travel-agent market will be an advantage.
