Housekeeping Staff

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role ensures a comfortable and pleasant stay experience for guests by adhering to the resort’s quality and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, balconies, and corridors.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Ensure all rooms are cleaned and ready as per daily check-in/check-out schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobby, reception, restrooms, and pathways.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to the supervisor.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures, safety standards, and use of chemicals.
• Ensure proper handling and care of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to grooming and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist guests with basic requests in a polite and professional manner.
• Support deep cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10th pass / basic education.
• Prior experience in housekeeping (hotel/resort) preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
• Physically fit and able to handle long hours of standing, bending, and lifting.
• Good attitude, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
