Job Description – Physics Lecturer

Job Title: Physics Lecturer

Department: Academics (Science)


Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

Explain scientific concepts using practical demonstrations, experiments, and technology.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and question papers.

Assess student performance through tests, projects, practicals, and examinations.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and student progress.

Conduct laboratory sessions while ensuring proper safety protocols.

Identify students who require additional academic support and provide remedial coaching.

Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and scientific inquiry.

Integrate digital tools, smart boards, and multimedia resources into teaching.

Participate in staff meetings, PTMs, school events, and professional development programs.

Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Perform other academic duties assigned by the school administration.


Qualifications

Master's Degree in Physics (M.Sc. Physics).

B.Ed. preferred

Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (freshers with excellent subject knowledge may also apply).

Strong communication and classroom management skills.
