Plant / Factory Head

The Plant & Business Head is responsible for overall leadership of the manufacturing plant and business operations of the sheet metal pressing division. The role involves driving profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, production efficiency, quality standards, business growth, and team development while ensuring safety and statutory compliance. The position acts as the single-point owner for plant performance, customer delivery, financial targets, and strategic growth of the business unit.

• Business Leadership
• Drive overall business profitability and achieve annual revenue and EBITDA targets.
• Prepare and execute business plans, budgets, and growth strategies.
• Monitor monthly financial performance including sales, margins, cost controls, and working capital.
• Develop strategies for customer retention and new business acquisition.
• Lead pricing discussions and commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers.
• Plant Operations Management - Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations of sheet metal pressing, fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum utilization of manpower and machinery.
• Improve OEE, productivity, machine uptime, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor production planning, scheduling, and dispatch execution.
• Ensure preventive maintenance systems are effectively implemented.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Quality Management - Ensure adherence to customer quality requirements and internal quality systems.
• Monitor rejection, rework, PPM, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
• Customer Management - Maintain strong relationships with OEM and Tier-1 customers.
• Participate in customer reviews, business meetings, and escalation handling.
• Ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Cost & Financial Control - Monitor manufacturing cost and implement cost reduction initiatives.
• Supply Chain & Procurement - Ensure smooth availability of raw materials, bought-out parts, and consumables.
• Monitor supplier performance and procurement efficiency.
• Optimize inventory and logistics costs.
• People Management - Lead and develop departmental heads and plant teams.
• Build a high-performance and accountable work culture.
• Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
• Ensure training and skill development programs for employees.
• Maintain healthy industrial relations and discipline.
• Safety & Compliance - Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Drive zero-accident and safe working culture.
