Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure that our automation control panels meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The role involves overseeing the entire quality assurance process, from raw material inspection to final product testing, ensuring compliance with both industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Planning and Process Control:

o Develop and maintain quality control procedures specific to automation control panels.

o Implement quality checkpoints throughout the production process to ensure compliance.

o Ensure adherence to customer specifications and Schneider Electric standards.

2. Standards Compliance and Documentation:

o Ensure compliance with UL508A, IEC, and ISO 9001 standards.

o Maintain quality records and documentation required for audits and certifications.

o Collaborate with regulatory and certification bodies for audits and inspections.

3. Inspection and Testing:

o Conduct incoming inspections for electrical components, wiring, and enclosures.

o Perform functional, electrical, and visual inspections of control panels.

o Identify defects and oversee corrective actions to meet customer expectations.

4. Process Improvement and Problem Resolution:

o Use Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and 8D methods to resolve recurring quality issues.

o Collaborate with production, design, and engineering teams to enhance product quality.

o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes.

5. Supplier Quality Management:

o Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

o Coordinate with the supply chain team to address non-conformance issues.

o Manage supplier quality audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

6. Customer Interaction and Support:

o Address customer quality concerns and provide timely resolutions.

o Coordinate with customers for inspections, testing, and approval processes.

o Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and quick resolutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, ENTC, or Instrumentation Engineering.

· Experience: 2-5 years in a quality role within the electrical or automation industry.

· Knowledge: Familiarity with UL, IEC, ISO standards, and Schneider Electric products is preferred.

· Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with experience in RCA, 8D, or FMEA.

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with teams and customers.

· Tools: Proficiency in ERP/QMS systems and MS Office applications.

· Certifications (Preferred): Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

Working Conditions:

· Location: Factory floor and office environment.

· Work Hours: Full-time, with flexibility for extended hours as needed.

· Travel: Occasional travel for supplier visits and customer interactions.
