Job Title: Machine Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food Processing Machine Fabricator to design, construct, and assemble machines used in the food processing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, welding, and machine assembly to ensure the production of high-quality, reliable equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble components of food processing machines according to design specifications and blueprints.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documents to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting of metal parts.
• Ensure all fabricated machines comply with safety and hygiene standards relevant to the food industry.
• Inspect and test machines for functionality and quality before delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve machine designs and fabrication processes.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair fabrication or assembly issues as they arise.
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Skills:

• Proficient in welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and Arc welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in metal cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembling.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and machinery used in food processing equipment.
• Familiarity with materials such as stainless steel and aluminum used in machine fabrication.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity for handling fabrication tasks.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, Welding, or related technical field preferred.
• Proven work experience as a fabricator or welder in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Basic understanding of machine mechanics and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations related to food processing machinery fabrication.
• Additional training or certification in specialized welding or fabrication techniques is a plus.
