Role Purpose

The Factory Head will be responsible for leading the entire manufacturing facility and ensuring smooth production, quality control, maintenance, inventory management, workforce productivity, safety compliance, and timely dispatch of finished goods. The role requires a strong operational leader capable of driving efficiency, controlling costs, and achieving business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Factory Operations & Production

• Lead and manage all manufacturing operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and utilities.
• Develop and implement production plans in coordination with Sales, Design, Procurement, and Project teams.
• Monitor production schedules and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and operational efficiency.

2. Quality Assurance

• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Minimize production defects, rework, and material wastage.
• Implement quality control systems and corrective/preventive actions.
• Address customer complaints related to manufacturing quality and ensure timely resolution.  

3. Team Leadership & Industrial Relations

• Lead and develop production, maintenance, quality, stores, and dispatch teams.
• Ensure discipline, productivity, and employee engagement within the factory.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify training requirements.
• Maintain healthy industrial relations and resolve workforce issues effectively.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Operations Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 12–15 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a Factory Head/Plant Head role.
• Experience in Furniture Manufacturing, Interior Fit-Outs, Modular Furniture, Wood Processing, Metal Fabrication, Plywood, Laminates, or Building Materials Industry will be preferred.

Compensation

CTC: ₹7 Lakhs – ₹10 Lakhs per annum (Negotiable based on experience and capability)

Preferred Candidate Profile

A hands-on manufacturing leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent people management skills, and proven experience in handling a medium to large-scale factory independently. The candidate should possess the ability to drive operational excellence, maintain quality standards, and achieve production targets within budget and timeline commitments.
