Associate Consultant - Software Testing and Quality Assurance

Executive-GDC (A2 / Associate Consultant )

 Roles & responsibilities 
Perform thorough testing of business logic within various applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements.
Demonstrate strong documentation skills to document notes, exceptions, and address comments/review notes from internal and external reviewers.
Collaborate effectively with the team to meet stipulated deadlines and ensure a smooth testing process.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with development teams.
Ensure the quality and reliability of the applications by conducting rigorous testing and validation processes.
Assist seniors /project leads in review as well as act as back up in their absence.  
Contribute to process improvements and explore AI or automation opportunities to enhance testing efficiency
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed
Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct
Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

Experience in software testing/quality analyst, database and visualization concepts.
Functional testing and good knowledge of software development life cycle.
Experience in defect creation & bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Excellent documentation skills.
Excellent knowledge of audit/Accounting concepts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders.

 This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational qualifications 
Minimum of Bachelors’ degree in Finance & Accounting or should have completed Master’s degree /Business administration 
Should have good understanding of accounting / auditing concepts well as in SDLC and software testing.
Work experience
2-4 years of work experience in relevant discipline

Prior experience in finance/accounting/auditing domain

GDC experience of  2-3 years is preferred .
