Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Application Maintenance Support Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js or Java, along with Front-End technologies. The ideal candidate should not only have deep technical skills in debugging and problem resolution but also the ability to guide junior members, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure stable and reliable application operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as a senior point of contact for major application development, application maintenance and production support activities.
• Lead the resolution of complex incidents, performance issues, and outages, ensuring minimal business impact.
• Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent solutions for recurring problems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality of delivery , seamless deployments and system stability.
• Review and improve existing monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, escalation protocols, and stakeholder communication.
• Work flexibly across rotational shifts and provide leadership during critical support windows.

Professional and Technical Skills

• 5-8  years of experience in application development /maintenance with strong exposure to production systems.
• Hands-on expertise in Node.js or Java.
• Solid understanding of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills across application layers.
• Proficiency in data troubleshooting.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and web-based applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, ELK, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to handle escalations and stakeholder updates.
