SAS Viya – Senior Consultant, Data & AI, Technology Consulting
EY is seeking a Senior Consultant for Data & AI Technology Consulting with expertise in SAS Viya. You will join a global team in a rapidly growing Data & AI practice, contributing to the design, build, and support of SAS Viya platforms and analytics solutions. This role offers the opportunity to implement information-driven strategies and advanced analytics solutions that help clients grow, optimise, and safeguard their organisations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and administer SAS Viya components, including CAS and compute servers, under the guidance of senior architects.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using SAS Visual Analytics based on business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into effective visualisations.
- Support platform lifecycle activities such as upgrades, patching, environment promotions, and production support.
- Monitor CAS performance, optimise workloads, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure platform security and access controls, aligning with enterprise standards.
- Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and delivery best practices.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- 5–7 years’ experience in analytics platforms or enterprise Data & AI environments, with strong SAS exposure.
- Hands-on experience in SAS Viya administration and CAS operations.
- Experience in building dashboards and reports using SAS Visual Analytics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities for production issues.
- Knowledge of SAS Viya security concepts and platform operations.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills, comfortable conducting workshops and demos.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 7–9 years’ relevant experience in SAS-based analytics platforms, including SAS Viya.
- Experience with platform lifecycle activities and Agile delivery models.
- SAS certifications (Viya Administration/Programming) preferred.
- Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
