Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commis III – Bakery & Desserts to assist in the preparation of cakes, pastries, desserts, and baked products. This is an entry-level kitchen role ideal for candidates passionate about baking and eager to learn in a fast-paced professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cakes, creams, fillings, frostings, and desserts
• Support daily baking and production activities
• Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and SOPs
• Assist in decorating cakes and plating desserts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and storage standards
• Help with inventory handling and ingredient preparation
• Support senior pastry chefs during production and service

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of baking and dessert preparation
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Positive attitude and team spirit

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or experience in bakery/pastry section preferred
• Basic understanding of cake decoration and baking equipment is an advantage
• Culinary or bakery training preferred but not mandatory

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced bakery and kitchen environment
• Early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
• Requires standing for long hours and handling bakery equipment
