We are looking for a highly driven and revenue-focused professional who can take complete ownership of the sales function, lead client relationship operations, and drive business growth aggressively.
Position Title: Client Relationship Specialist
Department: Sales & Business Development
Employment Type: Performance-Based / Incentive-Driven Role
Compensation Structure: This is a purely incentive-based role with unlimited earning potential.
There is no fixed salary associated with this position. Compensation will be directly linked to:
- Revenue generated
- Student/client conversions
- Team performance
- Client retention and renewals
- Business growth contribution
The higher the sales and revenue generated, the higher the earnings.
Role Summary:-
The Client Relationship Specialist will be responsible for taking complete ownership of the sales and client relationship operations of the company. This role involves leading and managing the sales team, converting leads into paying clients, acquiring new customers, maintaining strong client relationships, improving retention rates, and driving consistent revenue growth.
The candidate will also mentor and train Client Relationship Interns to build a high-performing sales ecosystem within the organisation.
This role is ideal for ambitious individuals with strong communication, leadership, sales, and relationship management skills who are highly motivated by incentives and performance-based growth.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Take complete ownership of sales targets and revenue generation.
- Convert incoming leads into enrolled students/clients through effective communication and relationship building.
- Drive admissions and sales for the company’s educational programs.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize conversions.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets.
- Maintain strong follow-up systems to improve lead conversion rates.
2. Client Acquisition
- Identify and acquire potential clients through calls, referrals, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive engagement.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to optimise lead generation efforts.
- Build partnerships and referral opportunities to increase client acquisition.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with students, parents, and clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication.
- Resolve client concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.
- Maintain strong post-sales engagement with clients.
4. Client Retention & Growth
- Ensure retention of existing clients through continuous engagement and support.
- Encourage renewals, referrals, and upselling opportunities.
- Monitor client satisfaction and feedback regularly.
- Implement strategies to reduce drop-offs and improve customer loyalty.
5. Sales Team Management
- Handle and coordinate the sales team operations effectively.
- Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of sales goals.
- Create sales workflows and performance tracking systems.
- Motivate the team to achieve aggressive growth targets.
- Ensure professional communication standards across the team.
6. Training & Mentorship
- Train and mentor Client Relationship Interns.
- Conduct onboarding and sales training sessions.
- Guide interns on communication, lead handling, objection handling, and conversion strategies.
- Build a performance-driven sales culture within the organization.
7. Reporting & Strategy
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and revenue.
- Prepare sales reports and performance analyses.
- Share business insights and improvement strategies with management.
- Identify market trends and customer behavior patterns to improve business performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:-
Required Qualifications
MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Client Relationship Management, or a related specialisation
OR
Master’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Client Relationship Management, or any relevant business-related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in EdTech sales, business development, admissions counselling, or client relationship management preferred
- Experience handling teams or interns is an added advantage
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes preferred
