Event Sales Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Event Sales Executive to drive bookings for weddings and events. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients — understanding their vision, presenting our services, and converting inquiries into confirmed bookings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, has a flair for persuasive communication, and thrives in the fast-paced world of weddings and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, WhatsApp, and social media, and convert inquiries into consultations
• Conduct client meetings (in-person and virtual) to understand requirements, budget, and vision for their event
• Present Swarno Entertainment's packages and services, and prepare tailored proposals and quotations
• Negotiate pricing and terms, and close bookings in line with monthly and seasonal sales targets
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through referrals, wedding planners, venues, and vendor networks
• Coordinate with the creative, photography, and event operations teams to ensure client requirements are accurately communicated
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and confirmed bookings in the CRM/tracking system
• Follow up with past clients and leads to nurture long-term relationships and generate repeat/referral business
• Represent Swarno Entertainment at bridal expos, wedding fairs, and networking events
• Stay current on wedding industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing benchmarks

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in weddings, events, hospitality, or a client-facing industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English, Hindi, and Bengali preferred
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a target-driven mindset
• Comfortable meeting clients in person, including evenings and weekends during peak wedding season
• Proficiency with WhatsApp Business, basic CRM tools, and MS Office / Google Workspace
• A polished, professional presence and genuine passion for weddings and celebrations
• Own two-wheeler/vehicle preferred for client visits (or willingness to travel locally)

Preferred Skills

• Existing network with wedding planners, banquet halls, or bridal vendors in Kolkata/West Bengal
• Basic understanding of photography/videography packages and production timelines
• Experience with social media–driven lead generation (Instagram DMs, inquiry forms, etc.)
