Maintenance Executive

Job Summary:The Maintenance Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, upkeep, and safety of all equipment, utilities, and infrastructure within the property. The role includes handling day-to-day maintenance activities, performing preventive maintenance, and attending breakdowns to ensure uninterrupted operations and a safe guest experience.

• Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, and utility equipment
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, kitchen, dining, and common areas to identify issues
• Attend and resolve breakdown complaints from operations team promptly
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors for repairs and servicing
• Ensure all equipment and systems are functioning safely and efficiently
• Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and inventory
• Monitor usage of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials
• Support installation of new equipment and fixtures
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and fire regulations
• Assist in maintaining overall property standards for guest satisfaction
• Skills Required:Basic knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical systems
• Hands-on experience in hotel/restaurant maintenance
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
• Basic understanding of safety standards
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Qualifications:ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical (Preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality maintenance
• Working Conditions:Rotational shifts / flexible working hours
• May require working on weekends and holidays
• On-call availability for emergency maintenance
• Key Performance Indicators (KPI):Downtime reduction of equipment
• Response time for maintenance complaints
• Preventive maintenance completion rate
• Compliance with safety standards
