Typist

An NABL laboratory typist is responsible for transcribing, formatting, and organizing sensitive laboratory test results. This role requires high typing accuracy, strict adherence to quality management systems, and absolute confidentiality.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly accurate Typist / Data Entry Operator to join our NABL-accredited laboratory. You will play a crucial role in our testing workflow, ensuring test results are transcribed flawlessly, formatted correctly, and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Result Transcription: Accurately type and format laboratory reports, from handwritten notes, Quality Manager dictations, or directly from LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
• NABL Documentation Support: Assist lab technicians and quality managers in typing, editing, and organizing NABL-compliant quality control logs, calibration records, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Report Dispatch: Print, scan, email, or upload completed laboratory reports to the online portal and ensure they are easily accessible for future audits.
• General Clerical Duties: Maintain digital and physical filing systems, manage office correspondence, and assist with general front-office tasks as needed.
