Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the machine, performing daily maintenance, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean work environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate VMC machines using G-code and M-code.
  • Component Dialing: Master all types of part/job dialing and alignment on the machine.
  • Daily Reporting: Maintain and fill out daily machine production and status reports accurately.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform daily basic machine maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Housekeeping: Keep the machine area and shop floor clean and organized at all times.



Technical Requirements & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Practical understanding and implementation of 5S and 4M principles.
  • Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.).
  • Thorough knowledge of G-codes and M-codes for troubleshooting and minor edits.



Behavioral Skills

  • Must have a good attitude and professional behavior towards colleagues and seniors.
  • Discipled, punctual, and a good team player.
