Location: Kolkata
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and financial records. The candidate should have strong knowledge of ledger management, bookkeeping, taxation, and hands-on experience with Tally.
- Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, and financial records
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other tax-related documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations and expense tracking
- Generate monthly and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Coordinate with auditors and financial consultants
- Maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of the company finances
- Requirements: 10–15 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of ledger handling and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Tally
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and compliance
- Knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Preferred experience in media, television, or the production industry
- B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred
