Accountant

About the Role

VIPL Logistics is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, banking, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tally Prime and a solid understanding of statutory payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle business correspondence and mailing through Outlook
• Manage complete accounting operations in Tally Prime, including voucher entries and invoice generation
• Process GST and TDS payments and ensure timely statutory compliance
• Assist in Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet analysis
• Coordinate overseas remittances
• Manage petty cash and maintain accurate records
• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Handle vendor payments and online banking transactions
• Conduct cash flow analysis and monitoring
• Track and manage all business loans
• Maintain organized files with proper supporting documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime
• Experience in GST, TDS, and banking/remittance processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Outlook and basic MS Office tools
• Prior experience in an accounts/finance role preferred
• Candidate must be based in or near South Kolkata

Preference

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Freight Forwarding & Courier industry.

Compensation

Salary will commensurate with experience and skill level.
